The Bathroom

We finally got a new camera (yeah!!!) so I'm able to update our blog again! I know, your all thrilled! This is what we've done with our bathroom so far! Looking around the house as I type now to see what else we can change!!

All Grown Up!

He did it! He made it to 30!!! Kirk turned the big 3-0 on Friday and we were all there to help him celebrate with great margaritas and food! Another one bites the dust :)

Mippy Turns 30!!!

Mitch turned the big 30 last week and we all went out this weekend to celebrate! Erinn rented a party bus and we all piled on and headed downtown! First to Sambucca's then off to Escobar. These are the "G" rated pics I could share! Needless to say, we had a great time!

I pick MONEY to win the Superbowl!

:) I've decided to partake in a little illegal gambling and buy a square for the Superbowl! Bad news - it's $25.00 bucks a square! Ouch! Good news - my numbers I got aren't too bad and should I have the pleasure of winning, the pot is $225.00 a quarter! SO, go Bears or go Colts cause in the end, I'm really rooting for the money! Momma needs some new shoes! (Hehehehe) My numbers are 7 Colts & 3 Bears. Not bad huh!?! Very possible that Sunday I could be a couple hundred bucks richer!

Bon Voyage!

Most of you know, this is my dearest friend Chad. He and I have been friends since I moved to Houston and we have been friends through a lot of good and bad. He’s a very special person to me and he has supported me through a lot of crap in my life :)He’s the best! Over the years, I’ve seen him do amazing things and take risks that seem to pay off well for someone as free spirited as he is! I just learned that he will once again be shaking things up and moving to Austin to open another restaurant! He’s very excited for the challenge and opportunity and although I will miss him dearly….I know Chip and I will visit him!! I wish him the best of luck – I know he’s going to do great and have a wonderful time living in Austin!

It's Raining Old People!!!

:) Gosh I just adore being the "baby" out of the bunch...well, 2nd to last baby. Since Mrs. Erinn entered the picture I'm no longer the youngest but second in line which I will take! Seems all the men in my life, Mitch (aka Mippy) and Kirk (aka Kirk-E-Poo) are to turn the BIG 30!!! Mippy will be falling into the "old man" category tomorrow (Wednesday) and Kirk-E-Poo is close behind...his b-day is on February 9th :) Seems this is a good month for birthday's as my sister and my dad (for the sake of my health, I will not mention their ages :D) are having birthday's on the 2nd & 3rd of February! Chip is breathing a sigh of relief that more people have joined the "old people club" and he can hardly wait for me to catch up in September!

Not so SUPERbowl :)

Well, ALL of our teams didn't make it this year (although the Chargers were close!) In the end, it's the Colts vs. Bears. I'm cheering for the Colts. It would of been nice to see the Saints, Chargers, Broncos - even the Raiders or the Texans (I know - stop laughing) go this year! I know what Denise is thinking...she didn't mention the Patriots...no, I didn't. They are a great team and they obviously play well under pressure but I wanted to see someone else's team make it for once! Anyway, for the first time in history I'm somewhat sad to see football season end but I'm looking forward to next season and to one of our teams making it to the Superbowl next year!!! We can only hope!

Denise Turns....

God would she kill me! I'm not stupid enough to actually blurt out her age for everyone to see on a blog BUT I will say that this Wednesday is the new Mrs. Greer's Birthday and I think she looks fantastic! I hope she enjoys her day and gets spoiled!

New Purse

Sad to report...the beautiful Coach purse Chip got me for Christmas was having major issues with the beads at the top. They kept coming off. After exchanging the first one for the same purse and it happening again, I decided to take the purse back to the Coach store this weekend. I learned that they discontinued making that purse due to issues with the beads coming off and that I could not order it. I also learned that they didn't make a purse that looked like that one at all. It was a special edition. The good news is that they were willing to let me trade that purse in for another one in the store. Just a completely different one. So, that's what I did. I love my new purse and I loved the old one! This one is a bit more casual but still beautiful.

Bittersweet.....

I could of died during the last 3 minutes of the Chargers/Patriots game yesterday! I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO sad that we lost! However, we played great all year long, we won our division as well as made it to the play-offs...so, even though I would of loved to see someone other then New England head towards the SuperBowl, I'm very proud of my team and I still love 'em to death! GO CHARGERS!!! WooHoo!!!
On the bright side, Denise is a huge Patriots fan and yesterday was a great win for her so I'm happy for her...or at least trying to be :) The Saints did great as well!!! Who knows...it may be the Patriots and the Saints for the SuperBowl! Now, that would put Kirk & Denise against each other...that could get interesting :)

Move Over Matthew....

As if I needed another reason to love California! Move over Matthew! David Beckham is now coming to the US to play for Los Angeles! This is by far the most exciting news I've heard in 2007! Can we say hello McSteamy!?!?!

Patriots vs Chargers

Next weekend could get ugly! Denise's team (Patriots) are playing my team (Chargers) next Sunday. We will do our best to keep it civil but this game is a BIG deal! If nothing else, the game should be really good as it's two really good teams! Good luck!!!

Erinn and I decided to celebrate a Friday Night by hangin' at the house in our favorite gear!! Victorias Secret PINK! I can't think of a better name to call your clothing line! We can't get enough of this stuff and it's easy to see why...don't we just look darling??? LOVE PINK!

Meet the Greer's

That's right! On Saturday, December 30, 2006, Kirk & Denise finally made it official by saying "I Do"! They had a small ceremony at Baba Yega's in Montrose with the reception to follow. The food, dancing, friends & family were all very special and beautiful not to mention, the bride looked amazing! We had a great time and are so excited that they are finally Mr. & Mrs. Greer!

Happy New Year!!!

I could not WAIT for 2007 to get here! Although the end of 2006 turned out to be a wonderful year (thanks to my fantastic hubby) I was very excited to start off 2007! We celebrated the new year by having dinner with our friends Mitch & Erinn at this great sushi joint, Miyako's and then headed back to our house to shoot off some fireworks! Well, the boys were out in the cold 40* weather shooting them off while Erinn and I stayed snuggled up in the warm running truck watching out the window. We were sure to honk the horn in the truck when the clock turned midnight for our good luck New Year's kisses! :* After a wonderful firework show, we (and our frozen husbands) headed back to the house to enjoy the pool table they moved to the garage and make our New Year's resolutions! Although 2006 wasn't all bad, I'm looking forward to what 2007 has to offer!

Our New Addition....

The last day of 2006 proved to be a great day! Chip and I sold our big screen TV and bought a 42" Flat Screen to take it's place. Only issue was, what to put it on! So, after lunch with Chip and my parents at Cafe Express, I pounced on my dad's suggestion to head up to "The Dump" to take a look around. After almost an hour of walking around this unique piece caught my eye!!! It was just what "we" were hoping to find! Without hesitation, we bought it and loaded it in the truck! After seeing how everything came together, we are very excited and it's actually our favorite piece we own now not to mention, the TV looks fantastic on it!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

After the boys recovered from their night on the town the girls decided it was our turn! Debbie, Denise's sister took us all out for a night of dinner and dancing! We had a great time and although Denise refused to wear the vail Erinn got her (I can't mention what was hanging off of it) we thought she looked really cute in her Bride t-shirt anyway!

Bachelor Party
