Since I know all anyone really cares about are pictures - here they are!! ALL the ones I've been meaning to post! So this is from her 1st birthday, pictures of her wagon, her outside play set, Halloween, picking out her pumpkins for Halloween...I still have more but this should satisfy you some! Saturday is Jen's birthday!!! I hope Kanab treats her like the princess she is on her special day! Happy B-Day! We love & miss you and can't wait to see you!!!

Camera Issues!

I'm BEYOND frustrated at this point! I have SO many pictures on my camera that I can not get off! I want to update the blog with all these pics of Maddie but seems something of a greater nature is preventing!!
I lost my cord that goes from my camera to my computer at a Texans Game - I know, Stupid me! So it took me WEEKS to finally get the chance to go to Best Buy to replace the cord. Get there only to find out that they can't replace the cord but they can give me a USB cord that reads picture cards - perfect! Off to the check out line I went - I could barely get home fast enough to get my pictures on the computer and on the blog (I know, yes, I am a nerd and no, I have nothing better to do). Patiently upload the software and wait (crickets....) it doesn't work! Are you kidding me!?!? Had it not been 10pm at night, I would of gone back up there and FREAKED out on the little camera guy who sold me this stupid thing! After a night to sleep on it, I decided to take my new little USB thing to work to see if I could get it to work there...guess what!?! YEP! SAME THING happened at work! Everything in my body wants to stomp and smash this stupid thing to pieces but that is not going to help me get my pictures on the computer. So, I'm waiting till tomorrow (our IT guy is coming in!!! AMEN) to see if he can be of some assistance...if not, then I am driving back to Best Buy and praying they have another solution and sales person! UGH!

Questia No More??

So I learned the news that Questia had a large layoff the other day - 17 people lost their jobs in this horrible economic time and right before the holiday's! A lot of my close friends were part of that group - please keep them in your prayers and wish for better & brighter things to come!

Going, Going, GONE!!

Well it happened, I dropped off my baby at daycare and came home to a walking toddler! Madison is just GONE these days! She's figured out how to use those legs and now we walk as much as possible!

Big Girl!

For Maddie's birthday, her PaPa & MeMe Olson got her clothes and a slide and play set for outside that is just her size! Madison LOVES being outside! Whether it's in her pool, playing outside, going for walks in her new wagon - she's always game!

Maddie Turns 1

Well it happened, as much as I tried to keep her a baby forever, Maddie turned the big 1 on October 30th (weeping). She's just SO big! I can't believe how fast a year has flown by! To help her celebrate her big day, we dressed the house up in Hello Kitty and invited everyone out!
Our little princess tried cake for the first time - both chocolate and vanilla!! (she picked vanilla - I know! Gasp! Can you believe MY daughter picked vanilla!!! She must have not been feeling well) and got it in her hair! Lucky for us, Halloween was the next day and so having bright pink hair wasn't much of an issue!!! Happy Birthday Maddie!

Pumpkin Patch

Since Halloween is approaching I took Madison to the pumpkin patch with her cousins to pick out her very own pumpkin and one for Daddy too!

Trick Or Treat!

So on Madison's 2nd Halloween (Yes, 2nd - she was born the day before!!!) we dressed her up as Tinkerbell and we headed over to Greatwood to do some Trick or Treating for the first time! I think PaPa Olson was more excited than Madison! We loaded her up in her wagon that PawPaw & MawMaw Unerfusser got her and off we went! For the first few houses she wasn't quite sure to make of all the strange little ghosts and goblins roaming around but by the end of the night, she was chowing down on some candy corns and giving everyone high fives! She even managed to score some candy from other little kids passing by that thought she was so cute - they gave her some of their candy!!!

T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!!

If you were too look up the definition, there you would see a picture of my little angel! The only problem, she seems to take the halo off as soon as she's dropped off at daycare! In the past 2 weeks our daughter has been written up twice at school! Once for fighting (yes, fighting - they even put marks on each other AND it was with a boy no doubt!!!) and once for biting! The same little boy! I don't know if these two have a love-hate relationship or what but I'm thinking that he clearly bugs my Maddie something awful! I think we are the only parents on the planet that have a 1 year old that is so scrappy! She FOR SURE gets that from her dad! I'm hoping this is a temporary thing!

Obama - Yuck!

Since I have listened to most people I know go on and on and on about the democratic party and Barak Obama, I have patiently listened, smiled and kept my mouth shut. This is extremely hard for me to do! I personally do not believe in shoving politics down any one's throat much like religion - I think it should be kept to yourself unless you are positive you are sharing your views with others who agree with you.
BUT since this is MY blog and you are free to read or not - I am sick of being silent and listening to all the buzz around our new president! Please! I beg of you! Stop talking about him to me! I do not like him or agree with his views. I'm sick of seeing his name and the signs everywhere I turn! It's bad enough I'm going to have to listen to him and his decisions for the next 4 years! The damage has been done and it is what it is. In my opinion, I'm just going to sit back and watch this disaster unfold. We traded a 3rd term of president Bush for a 3rd term of president Clinton - a president we impeached!!! So great job America!! That is for sure a different direction!

Ok, so my costume is not original but I think it looks so natural don't you?!?! Chip says it's a stretch which makes it the perfect costume! I'll let you be the judge! Miss Madison has "Halloween PJ Day" at school so as usual, I dressed up my little one and sent her off. We took this picture at like 5am - needless to say, she's less than thrilled!!! What a look! I have some happier pictures I will post later! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

So I often joked when I had the Maxima that I was going to send it off to L.A. to "Pimp My Ride" so that it would come back Pink and Sparkly and well just Oh So Sarah!!! WELL, looks like someone else had something MUCH better in mind! If there was ever a car that just SCREAMED my name, I would think this would be it!!! If there is such a thing as car heaven, this is mine! It was unveiled at SEMA in 2007 by DUB Magazine. It's a Mercedes-Benz SL600 that is covered with over 200,000 Swarkovski crystals and of course, Bavarian White Mammoth seat covers!!! Ummmm Pretty!

Madison's Party

Madison's 1st birthday is being celebrated this weekend at our house!!! I will be sure to update you with tons of pics - it's HELLO KITTY THEME!! Weeeee!

1 Year Updates

So Miss Madison will be turning the big 1 on the 30th of October! Hard to believe that it has already been a year. She's such a big girl! She for the most part is walking. Once she figures out she is on her own, she sort of freaks out and sits down but she's taking several steps on her own and walks perfectly if you are holding her hand. She can crawl at a racing speed (it's really running on her knees) and she has learned the beautiful thing about shaking your head NO! :) She spits her big girl food back in your face, takes EVERYTHING you put away back out and on the floor and she knows how to get what she wants - whenever she wants it! She's the perfect combination of Chip and I....and we know that means we are in SOOOO much trouble!! However, we wouldn't trade if for the world! I'll be sure to update pictures as soon as I can find the cord for my camera! I think I lost it at one of the Texans Games!
