Mother's Day
Mother's Day was amazing! I was made breakfast of waffles, fruit, mimosa's...you name it! THEN I was showered with tons of hugs and kisses (my fave!) and was able to relax outside and enjoy our new landscaping in the front and back yard!!! Played with Madison, went for a FABULOUS 1 1/2 hour massage that was MUCH needed! Truly, just amazing! It was relaxing and fun - I really couldn't of asked for a better day!

Interesting Horoscope Facts
I like horoscopes, not obsessed with them nor do I think they are spot on 100% of the time but they are fun and sometimes insightful. I would say the one about Madison is fairly accurate. The one about Maddie and me; and Chip and Maddie are about 80% accurate. The one about Chip and I as parents I'm not so sure about- could be wrong but I don't think I have any perfection standards with Madison and I think if there is someone who "knows" when soemthing is wrong with her or about to be wrong with her, it's me! :)

What does EVERY little girl want? Her own Pony of course!!! Chip and I took Madison to Old Town Spring this weekend and that is where Madison, met Sunshine :) She rode Sunshine 2x's and fell in love! I'm desperately trying to figure out a way to have a mini horse in our back yard but Chip isn't buying it!!

Happy Easter!
I love Easter! I think it's the weather - and I like getting Madison all dressed up like a doll and watching her hunt for eggs! This was her basket from mommy & daddy this year - can't believe I found a Mickey Mouse Easter doll! She's gonna squeal!

I get asked all the time what is my favorite thing that Madison does....really!?!? Ummm everything! LOL I don't think I could just pick 1 thing about her. I know EVERY parent must feel this way! You become obsessed sort of with them. There is just so many things about them and I feel like I miss so many being at work that I just want to soak up every ounce of her when I'm around!
I've been dieting for the past few months (years - whatever) and I'm down about 13 lbs! Woo hoo! BIG accomplishment for me. I won't dwell on the fact that I have 40 more to go - baby steps! Anyway, I love, love, love Smoothie King and this day, Maddie and I were together she decided she wanted to try one with mommy! So cute! She actually liked it! She kept insisting it was strawberry ice cream!
So, for now, in that very moment, that was probably my favorite thing about her - when she tries to act all big and grown up and be like her mom :) Warm fuzzies!

After a weekend of hard work, why let them rest!?!? I had Chip working to the point of exhaustion in our back yard and really, he's not done yet :) Since we started "fixing" things up back there with the garden - why not have him build a gazebo for the patio as well!?!? I mean really, is there NOTHING he can't do!?!? LOL
Such a good guy - anything for his girls...and we ask for A LOT! Ahhhh, relaxing in the SHADE while poor Chippers slaves away in the hot sun! I mean it wasn't like I was asking him to do it in JUNE when it's 100 outside - just a mere 85! :D

So Chip had a wonderful idea! For us to start a garden and let Maddie help it grow! I LOVED the idea - mainly because I hardly had to do any of the work!!! LOL Chip built us a beautiful box and filled it with the proper soil. Then we went to pick our stuff!!! Jalapenos, Peppers, Tomatoes, Basil, Parsley, Red Onions...The whole enchilada!
