Dinner at Landry's
Our first night we walked to Landry's Seafood and met PawPaw and Deb for dinner. Madison had a good time with her PaPa chasing all the birds and checking out the view!!!
Road Trip!
It had been entirely too long since my last trip to Corpus. My parents were heading down there for the weekend so we made it into a mini family get away!!! We stayed at the Omni right on the water front, ate dinner on a boat (Landry's Seafood), chased some birds with Papa, visited my PawPaw, visited Granny to replace her flowers and introduce her to Madison! (you can tell I picked them - they are PINK!!!), visited the Aquarium, played in the band while drinking beer and eating pizza at Pango's with Bubba and turned Chip into a truck driver! All in one weekend! Whew! SO much fun! Next time, I won't wait near as long to go back to visit!

New Lamps
Since being pregnant, I've completely stopped doing anything to my house. Nothing. I barely clean it and keep up with the laundry so anything above that has just been neglected :) Since Madison is getting older, things are becoming easier and I'm really looking forward to fixing up my poor neglected house! Since we moved in, the master bedroom has had no lamps! Can you believe that!?!? We have literally been living off the light by opening the bathroom door for 4 years.....unreal. Anyway, we found these great little lamps for $20 bucks (So excited about that!) at a place in Katy and they matched our bedroom stuff so well I couldn't resist the splurge! Let there be light!!!!
Girls Day
Since my "big" girls day out was cancelled due to the holiday weekend, Chip took Madison and I to lunch and to play for our own little girls day out at the Aquarium Downtown!
Baby for the Baby!
Maddie got a new baby this weekend - complete with stroller, clothes and things to feed her! She takes her baby EVERYWHERE and loves to play mommy!!! She's such a little girl and I LOVE THAT!!! :)
Bowl of Mush...
For those of you who have not seen Chip with Madison lately, really should see what a bowl of mush the man has become for this little girl. He makes me laugh, he always says "I really like her a lot!!!" That's good - because let me tell you, if ever there was a "daddy's girl" Maddie is it! These two can play, laugh, snuggle and hang out for HOURS and nothing else matters! Who knew Chip could be such a softie?!?! I DID :)
Papa's Chair
Chip was very ill a few weeks ago and to avoid him getting Madison sick, we had to move to my parents house while he stayed at home. Every time Madison goes to my parents, she has this habit of always hiding and playing behind her PaPa's chair! Busted!
New Stomping Ground
My parents came across this really cool little place in Sugar Land called The Stomping Ground. It's a cafe/kids hang out. They have a huge play area (think McDonald's on steroids) that is super clean and serve all this cute cafe/deli foods and desserts. Great place to let the kids go and the mom's unwind! As you can see, it took Madison NO time to jump right on in and start playing!!!
So Big...
I can't believe how big Madison is getting...here she is brushing her new teeth :) This is a very exciting part of the evening for her!
New Arrival
Jason & Jennifer Singleton welcomed the arrival of their new baby boy on May 25th at 12:42 am weighing 4 lbs and 10.8 oz and 17.5 inches long! Jen and baby are both doing great and the proud new daddy promises to send more pictures soon! Congratulations!!!
